Teleclass Education Africa inaletwa kwako kupitia ushirikiano na:
This initiative is intended to provide applicable and useful infection prevention and control information to healthcare providers in Africa, in the five primary African languages. Lectures are recorded in English, French, Arabic, Swahili, and Portuguese, combined with translated PowerPoint slides, and made available without cost. All lectures are created, translated, and recorded in Africa, and the talented people who undertake this work are paid a modest honorarium.
A trial recording was posted to the web site in 2015, and following a period of feedback, further lectures will be posted, beginning in June/July 2016. The web site that hosts this project was set up specifically for use on mobile devices – phones, tablets, etc – and is purposefully devoid of advertising or other distractions.
The concept is the outcome of efforts by the Infection Control Africa Network (www.icanetwork.co.za), Stellenbosch University in South Africa (www.sun.ac.za), and Webber Training Inc. (www.webbertraining.com), and is administered by Prof. Shaheen Mehtar.
Teleclass Education Africa is funded by Webber Training Inc. and by generous donations from individuals, corporations, and non-governmental organizations.
